My Mother, Linda Mastrantuono considered Shirley her best friend, confidant and soulmate for many years. Shirley and Mom loved "junkin" together, making crafts and sharing life. I remember her huge smile, sweet spirit and gentle gaze as she would sit at our kitchen table listening and laughing while sipping Coke. My Mother, Linda Mastrantuono considered Shirley her best friend, confidant and soulmate for many years. Shirley and Mom loved "junkin" together, making crafts and sharing life. I remember her huge smile, sweet spirit and gentle gaze as she would sit at our kitchen table listening and laughing while sipping Coke. After many years I reconnected with Shirley to tell her of my Mom's passing. She cried with me and we connected instantly. Over the last five years Shirley and I emailed and kept up. The last time we spoke she was the same as she always was, encouraging and always pointing to the positive side of everything in her life and others. Shirley left a beautiful legacy of ending love to her family. My deepest condolences to each her children and to all of her family. She was a woman of faith and is with her Lord and Savior. Her smile is wider than ever as she is now truly home!

I learned of Aunt Shirley's passing via Gayle Schreiber, another of her nieces via FACEBOOK. As the years passed, her beauty and warmth spilled over into the love of her children and all of those brought into the world over the years.. For a short while a couple of years ago, she would email me pictures of her family and proudly the pictures of the wonderful places they would take her for special trips. She so loved those trips! There are no words to properly or adequately express my sincerest sympathy to those who so loved her. With the approaching holiday and COVID-19 infringing on our way of life and death, her passing is even more sorrowful.
