To My Husband❤
Knowing you was a gift from God. You changed my life in so many positive ways. You showed me a new way to look at many things. You made me feel like I was the only one that mattered and you showed me a love I'd never known before. You were a true gift. Your calming, yet funny, personality with me is unmatched. You couldn't wait for me to have time from work to spend with just you.

To My Husband❤

Posted by: Your wife❤ Vandergriff - Wylie, TX - Spouse   Aug 10, 2021

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family first and foremost! My husband and I have been a part of Jay's life for 38 years. Guy worked with him at Schepps Dairy and Willow Distributors and played softball and flag football with Jay as well. We officiated football, baseball, and basketball together and became close friends. To know Jay was to know he was kind, generous, hard working and loved his family very much! He had so many friends

Oh little brother, you cannot imagine the devastation I felt when I got the news. Oh how I missed talking to you yesterday to wish you a Happy Birthday! Your cheeky comments and that outgoing personality will be missed. The memories I hold of some of our crazy antics will forever remain in my heart. My heart is broken. Save me a place and tell daddy I said hi. Until we meet again. Forever in my heart ❤

Jay's humor and humility were unmatched. The first time I met him we instantly clicked. I still remember the night Jay and Jennifer stayed up late when I was coming into town, even tho he had to wake up early for work. He was so full of life and every time he came to support Blake at regattas I would always spend time talking to him and it was always one of my highlights of that trip. I always told

Jay, I remember the last time I saw you out by the pool in your dad's backyard. Your dad thought the world of you. He was always so proud you. I know your family must miss you. I also know how happy your dad must be now that you are together with him again.
