Condolence & Memory Journal

My deepest condolences to Mori and Drew and their families. I went to high school with David and we worked together at the same high school job. I am at a loss for words to learn of his passing and am deeply saddened. We kept in touch through college and would visit whenever I was home (El Paso) during breaks. We lost touch after school except for when we'd reach out every few years to say hi and to make sure our contact info was current. Though we wouldn't speak often I always felt like he was there as I follow his activity on various social media. David was a great guy and will be missed. God Bless.

David was a high school classmate and good friend. We are saddened to hear of his sudden passing. Even though we cannot be there with you in person, we will be through prayer. May God be with you and continue to watch over your family. Until we meet again David.

Though he and I lost touch immediately after high school, I was, nonetheless, saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept my heartfelt prayers for God's peace and comfort to be with all those whose lives David touched, especially his wife and son.

I am so sorry about David's passing. I owe David a great deal. He saved my life at Nortel several years ago. I was working alone in a lab at Nortel and fell ill. I passed out fell and struck my head on a work bench. David found me sometime later and called 911. He stayed with me and reassured me until the ambulance arrive. I will always be great full to him. God bless you.

My thoughts are prayers are with the Permenter family during this most difficult time of loss. Over the years, I knew a man who loved his son and their scouting activities, loved his wife and even helped with "daddy daycare" and always had a kind and gentle spirit. God Bless his soul and his precious family.

I'm so sad - my heart goes out to you Mori, your son, the entire family. I need to see if I can contact Jim too. I saw David at your son at Baylor end of last year - I loved him and Jim and I'm sure your heart is broken - please know with the help of Gods strength you all will take one step at a time, one day at a time. Please contact me some time in the future - I would love to visit with you ! Love to you all !

David and his family our in my prayers. I worked with David at Nortel and he was a friend ever since.

David was one of the most genuinely authentic people I have ever met. Impeccable integrity and character. Hardworking and loyal. Always a great attitude and someone I looked to for inspiration when times were tough. You will be missed.

God Bless.
