Carroll W. Barnes born Nov. 22, 1940-Dec. 3rd, 2019. Carroll was born in Abilene Texas and graduated Abilene High school. He then went on to attend North Texas University where he graduated with a degree in Music and then received his Masters Degree in Administration from Stephen F. Austin.

The "Round mound of sound" was a friend to many, an Inspiration to more and a teacher to everyone.
