Nellie Grace Jordan (Grimes) aged 84 passed away October 6, 2019 in the Methodist Richardson Hospital.
Born in Rowlett, Texas November 24, 1934 to Bessie May Bayless and adopted by John Walter Grimes. She met and married the love of her life Robert Alton Jordan. They loved to share the story of how they met. He was delivering ice to her home and she peeked out the window. She asked that she pay him and the rest is history. They were married January 19, 1951. Robert entered the Air Force shortly after. They served 11 years in the USAF traveling the United States.
Together they raised three sons to be wonderful men. Nell was a homemaker for most of her adult life and taking care of her family was the most important thing to her.
