Robert Keith Voglesong Sr. Born November 20, 1947 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX Died November 8, 2020 in Mesquite, Tx

Robert Keith played trombone instrument in school and was on the swim team in middle school. He built model slot cars and enjoyed racing them with his brother and friends in the shopping Center. Daddy Cleo bought the boys motorcycles and they enjoyed riding them. Cherie burned her leg on the muffler and dad said, "She cannot ride the motorcycle anymore." He and his brother spent a lot of time together growing up. Keith and Butch built two real cars and raced at Devil's Bowl, Yellow Belly and Green Valley Racetrack. He loved his Trams Am car and kept it in mint condition. He was always called Keith until his little sister called him Keithie and it embarrassed him with his friends, and he changed his name to Robert. Grandmother Alexander always called all her children by their middle name and did the same with the grandkids.

He worked for the US Post Office for several years before becoming a truck driver. His cousin introduced him to the love of his life Pam. He loved his wife and two sons. He built big wheels, tricycles, bicycles for them to ride. Robert Keith Voglesong Sr. was a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam war. He struggled with lung cancer from the Asian orange he received during his time in Vietnam.

Robert is survived by his mother, Louise Prior; sons Robert Voglesong Jr. and Jacob Voglesong; brother George Voglesong Jr."Butch"; and sister Cherie Tunnell-Hansard; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Pam Voglesong; Grandparents Maude & Frank Alexander; Grandfather George Ernest Voglesong; Sister Sharon Rabon and her husband Don Rabon; Dad George Voglesong, and stepdad Cleo Tunnell who raised him.
