A memorial service celebrating Belinda's life will be under the direction of Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2343 Lake Rd. Lavon, TX 75166 with Gerry Sue Boyd officiating.

Belinda was born February 15, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to Delmar Lee Abbott and Lometa Ashton. She attended Boles High School and graduated from Greenville High School. After graduation, Belinda set high goals and achieved much success. In 1993, she began her journey with Commercial Recovery Systems as a Financial Advisor. In 1999, Belinda moved back to Texas and began working for the United States Postal Service. She worked with the U.S.P.S. for a decade before finding her passion in the construction industry. Belinda Kaye "Bamma" was known for spreading cheer, happiness, and many smiles to everyone in her path. She found joy in collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia, cooking finger-licking good meals, and spending time with her family. Bamma loved making memories and experiences wonderful for her family through great activities ranging from relaxing on the porch to swimming near a waterfall.
