Steven Mark Spurgeon was born on September 20, 1958 to Kenneth and Thelma Spurgeon. He went to be with his Lord on November 16, 2021 in Nevada, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Spurgeon; sister Janice Elaine Snider and husband Richard of Fort Worth, Texas; brother Kenneth Jay Spurgeon of Lubbock, Texas; sons Michael Spurgeon and Scott Spurgeon; daughter Sierra Spurgeon; stepsons Dewayne Bowman and Tyler Bowman; and many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held from 12 PM -2 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Faith Family Church located at 215 F.M. 6, Nevada, TX, 75173.
The Spurgeon family will be hosting the service, please have all floral arrangements sent to the church.
